You can support the Foundation by attending events, responding to a campaign appeal, supporting our back to school registration program, or making an unrestricted gift. These funds allow the Foundation to empower our educators ensuring educational excellence for all students.

Is there a special Blue Valley teacher or staff member who's made a positive impact on your child(ren) that you'd like to honor? With a gratitude gift of $30 or more to BVEF, we'll send your honoree a personalized e-card with your message of gratitude and acknowledgment of your gift to the Foundation on their behalf. Brighten someone's day while helping enrich educational excellence in Blue Valley.

Partners in Education

The Blue Valley Educational Foundation’s ‘Partners in Education’ program provides local businesses the opportunity to invest in our schools, market directly to Blue Valley families, and provide a special benefit to their target audience. Through our impactful e-blast system, partners can communicate directly with every Blue Valley family— over 34,000 emails, up to twice a year—as well as receive benefits associated with our signature events. Our Partners in Education members support BVEF and our classroom and district-wide grant programs.

Partners In Education options:

  • GOLD $3,500 - includes 2 e-blasts to all BV families, 2 tickets to BVEF Community Breakfast, recognition on  social media, and a sponsorship valued at $1,000 towards your choice of Community Breakfast, Battle of the Bands or Women's Giving Circle 
  • SILVER $2,500  -  2 e-blasts to all BV families, 2 tickets to BVEF Community Breakfast, recognition on social media
  • BRONZE $1,500 - 1 e-blast to all BV families, 1 ticket to BVEF Community Breakfast, recognition on social media

There are so many ways to support our Blue Valley Schools. In addition to one-time program or event sponsorships, we offer the opportunity to pick one sponsorship level and spread those funds across multiple programs and events. This model allows you to maximize your exposure and choose the funding level that fits your budget for the year.

Employee Giving

Blue Valley School District colleagues pull together in so many ways, and the annual Employee Giving Campaign is just one way to show support! Staff can contribute to BVEF through recurring payroll gifts or by making a one-time contribution. Collectively, donations from Blue Valley employees make a huge impact on our students, teachers, and schools! To enroll in payroll donations, contact Courtney at clcarlson@bluevalleyk12.org.

Faculty Fellows & School Liaisons

One special way BVEF asks for support in helping spread the word and volunteering at our fund-raising initiatives and signature events is by having a Faculty Fellow (school employee) and a School Liaison (parent/guardian/grandparent/PTO/PTA) representative from each building in the district.

Meet Our BVIPs

This diverse group of young professionals are very enthusiastic about supporting our community by helping ensure our schools have the resources they need to be the BEST! These individuals will join us with family and friends at our 13th Annual Battle of the Bands event being held February 21st, 2025 at Fiorella's in Overland Park. Attendees can enjoy FOUR LIVE bands, a silent auction, a wine and bourbon pull and MORE! BVIP’s dedicate time to round up their friends and colleagues to join them at this super fun night out! 2024 Battle of the Bands was a huge success, raising $104,000 to support BV's Performing Arts program and grants.
