Announcing NEW Parent Support Groups

We are excited to announce upcoming Parent Support Groups for the Blue Valley Community. We will have groups for elementary, middle and high school parents. Each group will be facilitated by a professional. The purpose of these groups is to be able to get support from other parents and learn from each others' experiences. Our hope is to create a community where we can share and talk about hard things. This is not a therapeutic program and is not a substitute for counseling with a professional. The first session will be held from 6:30 - 8:00 pm on January 9th at Hilltop Conference Center. Additional sessions will occur on February 6, March 6, April 3rd, and May 1st. These sessions are FREE but please register by clicking here so we know you are coming!

What’s NEXT?

Join us for refreshments and resource fair at 6:30pm on January 16th at Blue Valley Northwest High School. Register for FREE screening tickets by clicking here.

Watch The Mask You Live In documentary starting at 7pm. This video contains strong language, but it portrays the reality boys face in society today, which the Let Me Run program is working to change. After the film, we encourage everyone to stay for break-out discussion groups or visit with our community resource tables.

The Mask You Live In follows boys and young men as they struggle to stay true to themselves, while negotiating America's narrow definition of masculinity. This conversation is vital, not only for the health of our boys, but also for our society as a whole. Parents of children of any age are invited. The film is recommended for ages 14 and up.
