BV Well: Parents helping parents
BV Well is a parent group in the formation stages supported by the Blue Valley Educational Foundation. Our hope is to educate and support families in the Blue Valley area as they navigate mental health and wellness with their children.

Coming to Blue Valley this fall:
On Wednesday, September 5 from 6:30 - 8:00, BV Well will be continuing our parent information series. Our "Back to School Boot Camp" event will provide a panel discussion that will help debunk some common myths, give practical advice and answer questions to help ease the anxiety parents and families might be facing at the beginning of the year. Panelists will represent each building level so please save the date and plan to join us for an informative evening! If you are interested in being a part of the BV Well organization -- in other words: help plan events, select topics and speakers, support other parents in our community, consider joining the BV Well parent organization. Our next organizational meeting is scheduled for August 8th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM at the Blue Valley District Office, Board Room.
NEXT UP: October 10th and 11, 2018, we will host national speakers, Kirk and Casey Martin of "Celebrate Calm". They will entertain and educate us on staying calm so we can connect and parent our kids well. More details coming soon!
BV Well is off and running
BV Well has had a couple of organizational meetings and the program committee has met recently. There are going to be a lot of opportunities to get involved. Stay tuned and keep checking back here for meeting dates and locations.
The best way to inspire wellness is to start talking about it. Join the conversation and help us launch this important parent group.
mobile devices and our kids and Screenagers documentary
Thank you for joining us for our late spring events focused on learning more about how our kids are impacted in this world of technology. Between the two events, we had about 400 parents participate. If you missed Screenagers or didn't get the handouts (the crowd was so big we ran out quickly), click this link to view and print! Stay tuned for upcoming programing and thank you for supporting BV Well!
