Through our signature fundraising events, BVEF brings together community members, students and teachers to celebrate educational excellence and raise funds to support programs that help Blue Valley exceed traditional classroom limits.
There are many ways to support our Blue Valley Schools. We now offer the opportunity to pick one sponsorship level and spread those funds across multiple programs and events. This program allows you to maximize your exposure and choose the funding level that fits your budget for the year.
“The BVEF events are a great way to market your company to the Blue Valley community. They are always well attended, well-run and FUN!”
— Bronson Ko, KOMA Founder and CEO
This year, BVEF celebrated its 33nd annual Community Breakfast! Thank you to the Blue Valley community for joining us for the best "back to school" event in Blue Valley. Guests enjoyed student performers, student emcees, and an opportunity to hear from Superintendent Tonya Merrigan and an outstanding panel of local business and civic leaders. The theme was Our Future's So Bright! The breakfast highlighted our exemplary educators, our mental health and wellness programs and our special education program. Speak Up Foundation was honored for their service, generosity, and commitment to the district as the 2023 Best of Blue Valley Hall of Fame inductee! The Foundation raised a record-setting $400,000 through the event, dollars that will be used to fund classroom grants and impact grants benefiting the entire District.
Please contact Susan Tideman if you would like information about the 34th annual Community Breakfast. It's never too early to support the Blue Valley Schools.
Breakfast sponsorship makes a tremendous impact on our district and provides teacher and classroom grants, district-wide performing arts initiatives, a diverse schedule of mental health and wellness programs, and funds teacher recruitment and retention efforts.
Individual tickets to the event will be available in spring of 2024 and are $100 each. Please use 'Other amount' to purchase more than two individual tickets.
Women’s Giving Circle offers a $15,000 grant opportunity 2 times a year to an individual school, a grade level across the district, or a department-wide curriculum. Grant proposals, submitted by principals, administrative leaders, or classroom teachers, are narrowed down to three finalists selected. Finalists will present at the Women’s Giving Circle gathering where voting members, donors, will select the winning grant. Register.
A giving circle is participatory philanthropy, individuals make donations that are pooled and collectively awarded to the winning grant. For the BVEF Women's Giving Circle, up to three grant applications will be presented to members at the spring and fall event. A $100 donation entitles an individual to attend the event and to vote for the grant of their choice. Up to $15,000 will collectively be awarded to the winning grant.
Want to participate but can't attend? All registered Women's Giving Crile members who are unable to join us will receive copies of the grant applications and an opportunity to vote prior to the gathering.
Spring event is April 4, 2024. Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Johnson County Community College.
